The most notable expansion related to Vice City is its direct prequel, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) and later PlayStation 2. This game allowed players to step into the shoes of Victor Vance, Lance Vance's brother, and explore the city two years before the events of Vice City.
