The Vice City UI provides vital information at a glance. In the top-left corner, you'll find your health bar (green) and armor bar (blue). Below that is your current weapon and ammunition count. The top-right displays your current cash balance. The mini-map, located in the bottom-left, shows your current location, mission objectives (yellow squares/circles), and important landmarks. Red dots on the mini-map indicate enemies or police. Pay close attention to the mini-map during missions to avoid getting lost or ambushed.
When you're in a vehicle, the UI will also display your speed and the vehicle's damage level. A flashing health bar or a heavily damaged vehicle icon indicates you're in trouble. Keep an eye on these indicators to know when to seek cover, find health pickups, or abandon a damaged vehicle. Understanding the UI is key to making informed decisions in the heat of the moment.
