An Old Friend

Your journey begins with a rather rude awakening. After the disastrous drug deal, you'll meet Ken Rosenberg, your sleazy lawyer. He'll give you your first objective.

• Objective: Get to the hotel and change clothes.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Exit Rosenberg's office. You'll find a car, usually a Sentinel, parked nearby. Hop in.
  2. Follow the pink blip on your radar to the Ocean View Hotel in Ocean Beach. This is your temporary safe house.
  3. Once inside, head to the pink marker to trigger a quick scene where Tommy changes into his iconic Hawaiian shirt.
  4. The mission concludes here, setting the stage for your Vice City takeover.
• Reward: Access to the Ocean View Hotel safe house.

The Party

Ken Rosenberg needs you to make connections. He suggests attending a party hosted by the infamous Juan Garcia Cortez.

• Objective: Go to the clothes shop and then to Cortez's yacht party.
• Walkthrough:
  1. From the Ocean View Hotel, head to the "Rafael's" clothing store, marked by a pink blip, in Ocean Beach.
  2. Purchase the "Soiree" outfit. This is mandatory to gain entry to Cortez's party.
  3. After changing, get into a vehicle and drive to Cortez's yacht, which is docked in the marina in Viceport, marked on your radar.
  4. Approach the yacht to trigger a cutscene introducing several key characters, including Colonel Cortez, his daughter Mercedes, and the Forelli crime family's representatives.
• Reward: Introduction to new contacts and progression of the main storyline.

Back Alley Brawl

After the party, Cortez gives you a lead on who might be behind the ambush: a chef named Leo Teal.

• Objective: Locate and confront Leo Teal.
• Walkthrough:
  1. After the cutscene on Cortez's yacht, you'll be instructed to find Leo Teal.
  2. Head to the alleyway behind the Malibu Club in Vice Point, marked by a pink blip.
  3. Upon arrival, you'll find Leo Teal and his goons. Be prepared for a fight.
  4. Strategy: It's recommended to have a basic weapon like a Pistol or a good melee weapon. Focus fire on Leo Teal first, as he's the primary target. Use cover if available.
  5. After defeating Leo Teal, the mission is complete.
• Reward: $100 and a step closer to uncovering the truth.

Jury Fury

Rosenberg needs help intimidating a jury to clear a client. This is where you come in.

• Objective: Intimidate two jury members before they reach the courthouse.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Pick up the baseball bat from Rosenberg's office. This is your primary tool for intimidation.
  2. You'll have a time limit to find and "convince" two jury members. Their locations will appear as pink blips on your radar.
  3. Jury Member 1: Often found near the beach or a residential area. Drive up to their car and smash it with the bat until they flee. Do NOT kill them, just scare them.
  4. Jury Member 2: Similar to the first, locate them and use the bat to damage their vehicle.
  5. Strategy: Use a fast car to quickly reach the jury members. Avoid attracting too much police attention, as a high wanted level can make this mission much harder. If you get a wanted level, try to lose it quickly.
  6. Once both jury members have been scared off, the mission is complete.
• Reward: $400 and a reputation for getting things done.

Riot

Diaz wants you to stir up trouble at a local factory to disrupt a rival operation.

• Objective: Incite a riot at the SpandEx factory.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Head to the SpandEx factory in Little Havana, marked by a pink blip.
  2. You'll need to change into worker overalls to blend in. The clothing store for this is nearby, also marked on your radar.
  3. Once inside the factory, your goal is to destroy three delivery trucks.
  4. Strategy:
     • Equip a powerful weapon like an Uzi or Shotgun.
     • Approach each truck and shoot it until it explodes. Be mindful of the factory workers who will attack you.
     • Use the environment for cover and pick up any health or armor drops if available.
     • After destroying all three trucks, escape the factory and lose any wanted level you may have accumulated.
• Reward: $1,000 and increased trust from Ricardo Diaz.
