Beyond the main story, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City offers numerous side missions and activities to extend your gameplay. These range from collecting Hidden Packages to managing assets, providing additional challenges and rewards. Completing these can significantly enhance your experience and contribute to 100% game completion.

There are a total of 86 missions in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, including:

• 38 story missions
• 19 asset missions
• 6 racing missions
• 5 phone missions
• 3 stadium missions
• 4 off-road missions
• 3 remote-controlled missions
• 1 sparrow mission
• 7 side missions

One notable side activity involves collecting Hidden Packages. There are 100 Hidden Packages scattered across Vice City. These items must be collected on foot and cannot be picked up while in a vehicle. Collecting these packages unlocks various rewards:

• 10 Packages: Body Armor at Ocean View Hotel
• 20 Packages: Chainsaw at Ocean View Hotel
• 30 Packages: .357 at Ocean View Hotel
• 40 Packages: Flamethrower at Ocean View Hotel
• 50 Packages: .308 Sniper at Vercetti Estate
• 60 Packages: Minigun at Vercetti Estate
• 70 Packages: Rocket Launcher at Vercetti Estate
• 80 Packages: Sea Sparrow spawns in the rear side of the Vercetti Estate
• 90 Packages: Rhino spawns at Fort Baxter Air Base
• 100 Packages: $100,000, Hunter spawns at Fort Baxter Air Base (alternatively unlocked after "Keep Your Friends Close..."), and Hunter spawns at the Ocean Beach Helipad (requires "Keep Your Friends Close..." to be completed beforehand).

Another significant activity is acquiring Assets. After completing the mission 'Shakedown', you can purchase eight assets. These assets provide additional missions and are crucial for continuing the storyline. Once all missions for an asset are completed, it will generate daily profit. You can also save your game at any asset.
