There are several ways to earn money in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, including completing missions and collecting Hidden Packages. Assets also provide a steady income once their missions are finished.

One primary method for making money is by completing missions. Additionally, collecting Hidden Packages offers rewards, including cash and weapon spawns. There are 100 Hidden Packages scattered across Vice City, which must be collected on foot. After completing the mission "Rub Out," a broken hidden package will appear on the bar counter at the Ocean View Hotel.

Another significant money-making strategy involves purchasing and completing missions for assets. After completing the mission 'Shakedown', you can buy eight assets. Once all missions for an asset are finished, it will generate daily profit. You can also save the game at every asset.
