• Proximity to Resources: Look for areas rich in essential resources like Logs, Long Sticks, Stones, and Palm Fronds. A nearby water source (river or clean pond) is also crucial.
• Safety from Predators: Avoid areas with high concentrations of aggressive wildlife like Jaguars or Pumas. Elevated terrain or dense foliage can offer some protection.
• Accessibility: Ensure your chosen spot is relatively easy to reach, especially when carrying heavy loads of materials.
• Flat Ground: Building on uneven ground can be frustrating and lead to structural instability.

Essential Campground Structures

Once you've found your ideal spot, it's time to start building. Prioritize these structures:

1. Basic Shelter

Your first priority is a place to sleep and save your game. The simplest and quickest option is the Small Shelter.

• Materials: 10x Long Sticks, 10x Palm Fronds.
• Construction:

2. Large Shelter / Hut

• Materials (e.g., Mud Hut): Requires Logs, Long Sticks, Mud Mix (crafted from Mud and Leaves).
• Strategy: These larger structures offer more protection from the elements and can often house multiple crafting stations. They are a significant investment in resources but pay off in comfort and utility.
