As the ultimate encore, 'Free Bird' is the final test of your Guitar Hero II skills. The first half is a slow build-up, giving you ample opportunity to accumulate Star Power. It is absolutely critical to save all your Star Power for the guitar solo. The solo itself is a marathon of fast, dense notes, requiring extreme stamina, precision, and quick fret changes. On Hard and Expert, this solo is relentless. Activate Star Power at the beginning of the solo and try to maintain it for as long as possible. If you have multiple Star Power activations, use them strategically throughout the solo's most challenging segments. Practice this solo extensively in Practice Mode at slower speeds until you can consistently hit every note. This is the song that separates the legends from the wannabes.
