Fishing is a reliable early-game food source. Craft a Fishing Rod at your Basic Workbench (1x Log, 1x Plastic). Equip it and cast your line into the ocean. Wait for a bite, then reel it in with a timed click. Different fish types can be caught in various biomes. As you progress, you can build Fish Farms to passively generate fish, requiring less active effort. Fish Farms need to be stocked with specific fish and fed regularly. This is an excellent way to ensure a consistent protein supply for your settlers.
