Lost Flea Locations
The Lost Fleas are elusive creatures scattered throughout Pharloom, each offering a unique boon or revealing a piece of the kingdom's forgotten history. Locating all of them is a challenging but rewarding endeavor, often requiring specific abilities or keen observation. This guide will detail the precise locations and strategies for acquiring each Lost Flea.
Deepwood Flea
The Deepwood Flea is found nestled within the verdant, overgrown sections of the Deepwood, specifically near the Whispering Roots. To reach it, you'll need the Crimson Dash ability to traverse the thorny brambles and the Silk Spool to ascend vertical shafts.
- Location: From the Deepwood Staging Ground bench, head left through the dense foliage until you reach a large cavern with several pulsating fungi.
- Strategy:
- Utilize the Crimson Dash to bypass the initial thorny barrier on the left side of the cavern.
- Proceed upwards, using the Silk Spool to grapple onto the glowing moss patches.
- At the top, you'll find a hidden passage obscured by vines. Slash at them with your needle to reveal a small alcove.
- The Deepwood Flea will be clinging to a luminous mushroom within this alcove. Interact with it to collect.
- Reward: Grants a temporary boost to your Needle's attack speed after a successful parry.
Bonebottom Flea
The Bonebottom Flea resides deep within the ancient, crumbling structures of Bonebottom, a region known for its perilous drops and skeletal remains. Accessing this Flea requires precise platforming and the Bone Charm to reveal hidden pathways.
- Location: Within the Grand Ossuary section of Bonebottom, specifically beneath the collapsed bridge leading to the Weaver's Den.
- Strategy:
- From the Grand Ossuary bench, proceed right until you reach the broken bridge.
- Instead of attempting to cross, look for a small, almost imperceptible ledge on the wall directly below the bridge's edge.
- Equip the Bone Charm. This will illuminate a series of faint, crumbling platforms leading downwards into a dark chasm.
- Carefully descend, using precise jumps and wall-grabs. Be wary of falling debris.
- At the very bottom, a small chamber will open up. The Bonebottom Flea is perched on a pile of ancient bones.
- Reward: Increases the duration of your Thread attacks.
Citadel Flea
The Citadel Flea is perhaps the most challenging to acquire, located high within the treacherous spires of the Citadel. This Flea demands mastery of aerial movement and the Aetherial Glide ability.
- Location: At the very peak of the tallest spire in the Northern Citadel, overlooking the entire kingdom.
- Strategy:
- Begin your ascent from the Northern Citadel Ascent bench.
- Navigate the numerous vertical challenges, utilizing the Aetherial Glide to bridge large gaps and avoid wind currents.
- You will encounter several wind-swept platforms. Time your glides carefully to avoid being pushed off.
- Near the summit, you'll find a series of rotating gears. You must use your Needle to latch onto them and propel yourself upwards.
- The final stretch involves a long, uninterrupted Aetherial Glide across a vast chasm to a small, isolated platform.
- The Citadel Flea will be waiting on this platform, bathed in the light of the moon.
- Reward: Unlocks a new "Skyward Leap" combat art, allowing for a powerful upward strike.
Gilded Shore Flea
The Gilded Shore Flea is hidden along the shimmering beaches of the Gilded Shore, often requiring a keen eye for environmental puzzles and the Sunken Lure item.
- Location: Within the tidal pools of the Sunken Grotto, accessible only during low tide.
- Strategy:
- Travel to the Gilded Shore Outpost bench.
- Proceed right along the beach until you reach the entrance to the Sunken Grotto.
- You must wait for the tide to recede. This typically occurs after defeating the "Tidal Guardian" mini-boss in the adjacent area, or by resting at a bench multiple times.
- Once the tide is low, enter the grotto. You'll notice several shimmering clam shells.
- Use the Sunken Lure near the largest, most vibrant clam shell. This will cause it to open, revealing the Gilded Shore Flea within.
- Reward: Grants a small, passive health regeneration effect when standing still for a few seconds.
