Acquiring your first charm, the Fury of the Fallen, involves navigating spiked floors and performing a downward slash to pogo across a pit. This charm is found in a chest after reading a tablet in a section past the spiked pit. After obtaining it, you will destroy a wooden leg to open a path to Dirtmouth.

To get your first charm:

After collecting Geo from a collapsing floor, head to the bottom area with small elevated platforms above spiked floors.
Spiked rocks will fall from the ceiling as you jump on platforms.
From the 3rd small platform, jump down and head right to find more Geo and a spiked pit.
Cross the spiked pit by jumping and performing a downward slash to pogo off it.
Head down to read a tablet.
Open the chest to find the Fury of the Fallen charm.

After getting the charm, head left to drop back down, then return to the top and through the spiked floors. Go to the top right and strike the breakable wooden leg to destroy the walkway. This opens the path to the Kingdom of Hallownest. Continue right, strike the huge gate with The Nail to destroy it, and then drop down and head right to reach Dirtmouth.
