After acquiring the Monarch Wings, you can access the Abyss, a dark and mysterious area at the very bottom of Hallownest. Here, you'll find the Shade Cloak, an upgrade to your Mothwing Cloak that allows you to dash through enemies and certain projectiles without taking damage. This is a vital combat and traversal tool, especially for later boss fights.
