Deep within the Ancient Basin, you'll encounter the Broken Vessel boss. This infected entity is fast and erratic, spewing infection and summoning smaller enemies. After defeating it, you'll gain the Monarch Wings, granting you the ability of a double jump. This dramatically expands your traversal options and is crucial for reaching many previously inaccessible areas.
