The Soul Sanctum, located in the upper-left of the City of Tears, is home to the Soul Master. This boss is a challenging mage who teleports and fires projectiles. His second phase is faster. Defeating him grants you the Desolate Dive spell, which allows you to smash through fragile floors and deal area-of-effect damage. This spell is crucial for accessing new areas.
