The Path of Pain is an optional, extremely challenging platforming gauntlet located within the White Palace (accessed via the Dream Nail on the Pale King's corpse in Palace Grounds). It requires pixel-perfect jumps, Nail bounces, and dash timings. There are no enemies, only environmental hazards. Completing it unlocks a small lore sequence and is required for the 'Embrace the Void' ending if you want to see the full lore.
