Hollow Knight: Silksong features various side quests, many originating from Wishwalls. Completing the main story objectives before undertaking certain side quests, like the Twisted Bud quest, is advisable to avoid a permanent curse. After defeating Widow, new quests become available at the Bellhart Wishwall.

It is recommended to complete the mid and late-game main story objectives before engaging with the Twisted Bud questline. This quest, if started prematurely, will curse you, preventing healing and tool use for the remainder of your main quest objectives.

Specific side quests and activities include:

Wishwall Quests: Many side quests are obtained from Wishwalls found throughout the game.
Post-Widow Quests: After defeating Widow, return to the first section where you entered Bellhart. The residents will be out, and the Wishwall there will offer new quests.
The Twisted Bud Quest: This quest, initiated by finding the Twisted Bud and giving it to Greyroot, leads to the Rite of Rebirth Wish and a cursed playthrough.
The Green Prince: This quest can be progressed in The Abyss after obtaining the Twisted Bud and reaching the new zone.
Secret Rosary Room: In the Ruined Temple, after getting the save, drop down and stick to the left side. A ledge with a vine pathway can be cut to enter a room with a pot containing 28 Rosaries and two wasps.
