Gepard, a formidable opponent encountered in Honkai: Star Rail, presents a significant defensive challenge due to his exceptionally high defense. To effectively overcome him, players must exploit his elemental weaknesses. Gepard is particularly vulnerable to Physical, Ice, and Imaginary damage types. Prioritizing the breaking of his Toughness bar is crucial. Characters like Dan Heng, whose abilities can contribute to breaking Toughness, or March 7th, with her Ice element, are excellent choices for this phase of the fight. Gepard's ability to deploy powerful shields can be a major impediment, significantly prolonging the battle and increasing the risk of party wipe. Therefore, it is highly recommended to bring characters who possess strong single-target damage output or abilities specifically designed to break shields quickly. Careful management of your team's Skill Points is also essential, as using them on attacks that don't contribute to Toughness break or shield removal can be detrimental. aim to conserve Skill Points for crucial moments when a shield needs to be shattered or when a significant damage burst is required to finish off Gepard before he can regenerate his defenses.
