Character: Manny Pardo
This encounter isn't a traditional boss fight but a challenging sequence where you face a heavily armored Henchman. He can take multiple hits and wields a powerful shotgun. The key is to use the environment to your advantage and exploit his slow movement.
- Phase 1: Initial Encounter
The Henchman will appear in a large room, often with other enemies. Focus on clearing the weaker enemies first to reduce incoming fire. The Henchman will slowly advance, firing his shotgun. Use pillars, walls, and furniture for cover. Do NOT try to melee him directly unless he's stunned.
- Phase 2: Exploiting Weaknesses
The Henchman is vulnerable to sustained gunfire. Shotguns and assault rifles are effective. If you have a powerful melee weapon, you can stun him by throwing a weapon at him, then quickly follow up with melee attacks. He can be executed after taking enough damage, but it requires multiple hits. Keep moving, circle-strafing him, and firing whenever you have a clear shot. If you run out of ammo, prioritize finding more or using environmental objects to stun him.
- Rewards: Clearing this section allows you to progress the story. There are no specific item drops.
Patience and careful movement are crucial here. Don't rush in, and always prioritize cover.
