You begin in a small reception area. Immediately to your left, you'll likely encounter one or two unarmed thugs. Use Alex's chainsaw to dispatch them quickly. Ash will automatically engage any enemies that come into view, so keep an eye on his ammo count.

Proceed into the first set of cubicles. These tight corridors are perfect for Alex's chainsaw. Be cautious around corners; enemies often patrol these areas. Listen for audio cues – footsteps and enemy chatter can give away their positions before they round a corner.

• Strategy Tip: Use Ash's pistol shots to bait enemies out of cover or around corners, then quickly move Alex in for the chainsaw kill. This conserves Ash's ammo for more critical situations.
• Enemy Type: Expect unarmed thugs and a few pistol-wielding enemies. Prioritize pistol users with Alex's chainsaw, as Ash can struggle against multiple armed targets.

After clearing the initial cubicles, you'll enter a more open office floor plan, often featuring a central aisle with cubicles on either side and a few enclosed conference rooms. This area presents a greater challenge due to longer sightlines for armed enemies.

1. Clear the Central Aisle: Move cautiously down the main aisle. Ash's pistol becomes more valuable here. Use him to soften up enemies at a distance or to take out isolated targets before Alex closes in.
2. Check Conference Rooms: These enclosed spaces often hide one or two enemies, sometimes armed with shotguns. Approach conference room doors with extreme caution. A common tactic is to quickly open the door, let Ash get a shot or two in, and then immediately retreat, drawing the enemy out into the open for Alex.
3. Weapon Scavenging: Keep an eye out for dropped weapons, especially firearms. While Alex primarily uses the chainsaw, picking up a shotgun or assault rifle can be incredibly useful for Ash if his pistol ammo runs dry, or for Alex to quickly clear a particularly dense group of enemies before reverting to the chainsaw for combo potential.

• Elevator/Stairwell Approach: The path to the next floor is usually guarded by a few heavily armed enemies, sometimes including a guard with a submachine gun. Use cover effectively. Ash's pistol can chip away at these enemies, but Alex will need to close the distance for the kill. Consider throwing a weapon to stun a particularly dangerous foe before rushing in.
• Combo Management: The offices, with their numerous enemies, are excellent for maintaining high combos. Try to chain kills together by moving quickly between targets. The chainsaw's wide arc is your best friend here. A high combo score contributes significantly to your end-level ranking.
