Carl starts you with a drill, a powerful melee weapon that can instantly kill most enemies, including Fat Guys, with a single stab. This mask is excellent for players who want a reliable, high-damage melee option from the start of a level. The drill's execution animation is also quite fast, helping with combo maintenance. However, the drill is a melee weapon, meaning you still need to get close to enemies. It's particularly strong in levels with many Fat Guys or when you want to conserve firearms. Be mindful that once you drop the drill, you'll need to find another weapon, as its unique starting advantage is gone.
