The Basement Lab often features enemies positioned to cover multiple angles. This is where the 'Shift' key for looking ahead becomes indispensable. Plan your route carefully. You might need to draw enemies out of rooms one by one. If you see a group, a well-placed thrown weapon can stun several, giving you an opening. Molotovs, if available, are excellent for clearing out clustered enemies. Be wary of enemies behind counters or obstacles; they can often shoot over them. The 'Tony' mask can be very effective for quickly clearing rooms once you've engaged, as his lethal punches bypass the need for finding weapons.
