Advanced Physics Exploitation
While Human: Fall Flat presents puzzles with intended solutions, its robust physics engine allows for a great deal of creative exploitation. Mastering Bob's ragdoll physics is key to these advanced maneuvers. The ability to grab onto ledges, objects, and even other Bobs can be used in ways the developers might not have explicitly planned. For example, when faced with a high wall, instead of looking for a ramp or a series of platforms, consider using your grab ability to "climb" the wall by repeatedly grabbing and pulling yourself upwards, using any small protrusions or even the texture of the wall itself.
The momentum of objects is also a powerful tool. In levels with moving platforms or swinging elements, timing your jumps and grabs with the object's trajectory can allow you to cover vast distances or reach areas that seem inaccessible. For instance, in the "Power Station" level, using the swinging cranes to propel yourself across large gaps is a common, albeit challenging, technique. This requires precise timing and a good understanding of how Bob's weight affects momentum.
Furthermore, the way Bobs interact with each other can be exploited. A well-timed "throw" of another Bob can send them soaring across gaps, potentially reaching switches or platforms that are otherwise out of reach. This requires coordination and a bit of luck, as Bob's landing can be unpredictable. Experiment with different angles and forces when throwing. Even seemingly insignificant objects can become tools for physics exploitation. A small crate, when pushed with enough force, can be used to trigger distant switches or even act as a temporary step. The key to advanced physics exploitation is to think outside the box and constantly question the intended use of every object and mechanic in the game.
