Hollows are powerful, large-bodied enemies that appear in several missions. They have a wide range of attacks, including powerful slams, energy blasts, and a spinning attack. Their weak-point gauge often appears after they perform a specific attack or when stunned by a Sheikah Slate Rune. Strategy: Use Stasis (L + A) to interrupt their charging attacks or to freeze them for a few free hits.
Characters with high mobility like Impa or Link (one-handed) can quickly get behind them to attack. Urbosa's lightning attacks are also very effective at depleting their weak-point gauge. Focus on dodging their attacks and then counter-attacking. When their weak-point gauge is exposed, unleash your strongest combos and a Weak-Point Smash. Rewards include monster parts and rare materials.
