The Stone Talus is a recurring mini-boss. Its main weak point is the ore deposit on its back or head. Phase 1: It will lumber around and occasionally slam its arms down or throw rocks. Dodge its slams and use Remote Bombs (L + Y) when it's standing tall to stun it. Phase 2: Once stunned, a prompt will appear to climb onto its body (A button). Attack the ore deposit directly with strong combos.
Alternatively, you can attack its arms when they are on the ground to stun it. Repeat this process until defeated. Characters with strong single-target damage like Link (two-handed weapon) or Daruk are excellent choices. Be mindful of its rock throws; they deal significant damage. Rewards include various ore materials and rupees.
