This is your first major battle, introducing you to large-scale combat. You'll primarily control Link. Focus on clearing out enemy groups and capturing outposts. The main objective is to defeat the various Moblin and Bokoblin captains that appear. Use Link's powerful sword combos and his Sheikah Slate Runes to thin out the enemy ranks quickly. Remember to dodge and block to avoid taking unnecessary damage.
As you progress, more powerful enemies like Stone Taluses will appear. For Stone Taluses, target the ore deposit on their back or head with Remote Bombs or strong attacks when they are stunned. Keep an eye on the mini-map for new objectives and enemy reinforcements. Your ultimate goal is to push back the enemy forces and secure Hyrule Field.
