In the first phase, your primary objective is to destroy the Vek eggs surrounding the Hive Leader. These eggs will hatch into new Vek if not destroyed within a turn. Prioritize eggs that are about to hatch into dangerous Vek. Use area-of-effect attacks to clear multiple eggs simultaneously. Position your mechs to cover as many eggs as possible while also dealing with newly spawned Vek. Don't let the map get overwhelmed.
