Detritus Inc. introduces more challenging Vek and environmental hazards. You'll frequently encounter Acid Psions, which buff all Vek, and Diggers, which can destroy tiles. The environment often features corrosive goo, which damages units standing on it, and explosive barrels. Use these hazards to your advantage, but be wary of your own mechs taking damage. This island is a good place to start investing in mech upgrades and pilot skills.
