Wood Knight Strategy

Defeat the Wood Knight in Kena: Bridge of Spirits by dodging its wide sweeps and charging attacks. Exploit openings after its powerful assaults.

The Wood Knight is one of the more imposing early-game enemies Kena will encounter, characterized by its heavy armor and powerful melee attacks. Its primary threat comes from its wide, sweeping strikes and its ability to charge forward with its weapon. These attacks are often telegraphed, giving Kena a window to dodge or parry. However, its armor can make it resistant to direct damage from Kena's staff, requiring a more strategic approach.

To effectively defeat a Wood Knight, focus on exploiting its openings. After it completes a heavy attack or a charge, it will often pause briefly, leaving itself vulnerable. This is the prime time to strike with Kena's staff or a charged arrow. The Rot can also be useful here; directing them to perform a Rot Hammer attack can break through its guard or stagger it, allowing for a flurry of Kena's own attacks. Be patient, learn its attack patterns, and strike when it's most exposed. Avoid getting greedy with your attacks, as its counter-attacks can be devastating.
