What Carries Over in New Game+
When you begin a New Game+ playthrough in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, you'll find that a significant portion of your progress from your completed save file is carried over, allowing for a more powerful and streamlined start. This includes all of Kena's learned abilities, such as her parry, dodge, and various Spirit Bow upgrades. Crucially, any Spirit Orbs you've collected will also be retained, meaning you can immediately spend them on further enhancements or new abilities without needing to re-earn them. This allows for a much faster progression through the early game and opens up opportunities to experiment with different ability loadouts from the very beginning.
Beyond Kena's personal progression, your collection of Rot will also carry over. This means you'll have your full complement of loyal companions ready to assist you in combat and puzzle-solving right from the start. Any outfits you've unlocked for Kena will also be available, allowing you to customize her appearance from the outset. However, story progression will reset, meaning you'll need to re-experience the narrative and re-clear all the main objectives and boss encounters. While key items and collectibles that are tied to specific story beats might reset, the overall framework of your character's power and customization remains intact, providing a distinct advantage as you face the challenges of a New Game+.
