In large engagements, effective kiting and crowd control can turn the tide. Use fast characters (high Athletics) to draw enemies away from your main force or to funnel them into chokepoints. Crossbowmen are excellent for kiting, slowly whittling down enemy numbers. Use terrain to your advantage, such as leading enemies through narrow passes or over cliffs. Focus fire on dangerous targets first. This is especially useful against large groups or powerful single enemies.
