Lagon is one of the most imposing bosses you'll face during the main campa of Last Epoch. As a god of the sea, his attacks are heavily themed around water, storms, and crushing physical force. The encounter takes place in a unique arena, and successfully navigating its mechanics is key to progressing further into the story and preparing for the endgame.
Location:
Lagon is typically encountered in the Temple of Lagon, often accessible after progressing through the Divine Era and reaching the area surrounding the temple. The exact location and access point can vary slightly depending on campa progression.
Recommended Defensive Stats:
- Elemental Resistances: Lagon deals sificant Lightning and Cold damage. Aim for 75% resistance in both categories to drastically reduce incoming damage.
- Physical Resistance/Armor: His physical slams and crushing attacks can be devastating. Ensure you have a decent armor value or physical damage reduction.
- Health: A substantial health pool provides a buffer against his powerful, often telegraphed, attacks.
Key Mechanics and Strategies:
- Tidal Waves: Lagon summons waves that sweep across the arena. These are telegraphed by visual cues on the ground, requiring players to move to safe zones or jump over them if possible.
- Lightning Strikes: Bolts of lightning will strike randomly or target players. Keep an eye on the ground for telegraphs and reposition accordingly.
- Crushing Slam: Lagon will slam his massive fists or body down, creating AoE damage zones. These are usually well-telegraphed and require quick evasion.
