Item Rarity & Types

Item rarity in Last Epoch dictates an item's power and potential. There are several tiers of rarity, from common to legendary, each offering different levels of affixes and unique properties. Understanding these rarities helps in identifying valuable drops and planning your gear progression.

Beyond standard rarity, special item types like Idols and Weaver's Will items provide additional layers of customization and power. Idols offer diverse stats and can be build-enabling, while Weaver's Will items evolve with your character.

Items in Last Epoch come in the following rarities:

• Common
• Magic
• Rare
• Exalted
• Set
• Unique
• Legendary

Additionally, Weaver's Will items are a special type of Unique item. As you level up, these items gain Experience, adding new Affixes or increasing the Tier of an existing Affix on the item.

Idols are another major part of gearing, similar to Charms in Diablo 2. They have dedicated slots on the character sheet, provide a wide variety of stats, and can even be build-enabling.
