While Last Epoch doesn't feature traditional faction systems with reputation grinding in the same vein as some other ARPGs, there are mechanics that function similarly, particularly concerning vendors and questing. Progressing through the campa and engaging with specific vendors or questlines can unlock new opportunities and rewards, akin to building reputation.

Understanding how to best utilize vendors, particularly the Arena and Gambling vendors, and how certain questlines offer unique benefits is key to maximizing your character's progression outside of direct combat. This section will explore how to approach these systems to gain an edge.

Vendor Systems and Progression

Last Epoch features several key vendors that offer valuable services and items:

• Gambling Vendor: This vendor allows you to spend gold to purchase random items of a specific slot type. The item's rarity and level are influenced by your character's level. It's a good way to find specific gear slots or items with desirable base types.
• Arena Vendor: After participating in the Colosseum Arena, you earn Arena Seals. These seals can be traded with the Arena Vendor for powerful unique items, set items, and crafting materials that are often build-defining.
• Crafting Vendors: While not directly tied to reputation, these vendors sell basic crafting materials and sometimes offer specific runes or glyphs.

Questlines and Faction-like Rewards

Certain questlines, particularly those encountered during the campa or in specific endgame zones, can offer benefits that feel similar to faction rewards. These might include:
