Tips & Secrets
Blessings are passive bonuses obtained in the Monolith of Fate endgame system. After completing a Timeline and defeating its boss, players receive a selection of Blessings. These bonuses, ranging from increased power to improved item drop rates, apply to all activities in the game, not just Monoliths.
The Monolith of Fate is Last Epoch's primary endgame system, accessible east of The End of Time. It features a branching map, targetable rewards, bosses, modifiers, and difficulty scaling across different Timelines, each with unique quests and Blessings.
Gearing is a vital aspect of character progression, impacting both survivability and damage output. Items come in various rarities: Common, Magic, Rare, Exalted, Set, Unique, and Legendary. Weaver's Will is a special Unique item that gains experience and adds new Affixes or increases existing Affix Tiers as you level up.
Idols are similar to Charms from Diablo 2, occupying dedicated slots on the character sheet. They provide a wide array of stats and can be build-enabling, adding a layer of customization and progression to your gearing strategy.
Monolith of Fate Bosses
- Lagon: The final boss of the Ending the Storm Monolith Timeline, found in the Eye of the Storm. This encounter has three distinct phases and is considered one of the hardest bosses due to a significant one-shot mechanic and other mechanics that can wipe builds depending on Corruption and character level. Knowing exact positioning is crucial for this fight.
- Architect Liath: An optional miniboss in the level 75 timeline, Ending the Storm. She can be fought in Island Battlefield if you choose to confront her, using the same toolkit of attacks as in the story, but she teleports in a triangle around the entrance. Alternatively, you can let her go in peace to complete the quest echo.
