Energy Points (EP) are the resource used to cast Arts in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC. Managing your EP is crucial, especially for your spellcasters, as running out can severely limit your party's offensive and support capabilities. EP recovery items are therefore essential for sustained magical offense and healing throughout your adventures.

The most common and fundamental EP recovery item is the EP Charge. This item restores a small amount of EP to a single character. They are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased in large quantities from most shops. It's good practice to have a healthy supply of these on hand for quick EP top-ups between battles or during extended combat sequences.

For a more significant EP boost, the EP Bottle is your go-to item. This consumable restores a moderate amount of EP to a single character. These are more valuable than EP Charges and are best saved for when a character needs a substantial refill to cast a powerful art or to continue their support role. They are often found in treasure chests or as rewards for completing quests.

The ultimate EP recovery item for a single target is the EP Potion. This item restores a large amount of EP, often bringing a depleted EP bar close to full. These are rare and expensive, making them a strategic resource to be used wisely, typically on your primary magic user during a difficult boss fight where sustained arts usage is critical.

While there aren't direct party-wide EP recovery items in the same vein as HP recovery items, characters like Kloe or Olivier can learn Arts that restore EP to themselves or their allies. However, for situations where you need to quickly replenish EP for multiple characters without relying on specific Arts or characters, you'll need to manage individual EP levels using the single-target items.

When planning your inventory, ensure you have a balanced mix of EP recovery items. Don't neglect the basic EP Charges, as they are excellent for maintaining EP levels over long periods. Reserve the EP Bottles and EP Potions for when your spellcasters truly need them to unleash their most potent abilities. Effective EP management will significantly enhance your party's overall combat effectiveness.
