As a prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm is rich with easter eggs and references to the original Life is Strange, as well as other pop culture nods. Finding these can be a rewarding experience for long-time fans.

• Max Caulfield References: Throughout the game, especially in Chloe's room and journal, you'll find numerous references to Max, her departure, and their shared past. The 'Farewell' episode is entirely dedicated to their last day.
• Arcadia Bay Landmarks: Many locations from the original game, such as the Two Whales Diner, Blackwell Academy, and the Lighthouse, appear, often with subtle changes or new perspectives.
