The Hospital
The episode begins with Chloe waking up in the hospital. After a brief conversation with Joyce, you'll have the opportunity to explore the room and gather information.
- Examine the Flowers: On the bedside table, interact with the flowers to trigger a thought from Chloe.
- Read the Card: Next to the flowers, pick up and read the get-well card.
- Check the IV Drip: Look at the IV stand near the bed.
- Talk to Joyce: Exhaust all dialogue options with Joyce to learn more about Rachel's condition and the events leading up to this.
- Use the Call Button: Once you've explored the room, press the call button on the bed to summon a nurse.
A nurse will enter and provide an update on Rachel. You'll then be prompted to make a choice regarding Rachel's parents.
Rachel's Room
After the conversation with the nurse, Chloe will be able to visit Rachel in her room. This is a crucial emotional scene.
- Approach Rachel's Bed: Walk over to Rachel's bedside.
- Interact with Rachel: You'll have several dialogue options. Choose carefully as these can impact Chloe's internal monologue and future interactions.
- Examine the Drawing: On the wall near Rachel's bed, look at the drawing.
- Read the Note: On the small table, there's a note from Rachel's mother.
The scene will progress, leading to a significant revelation and a difficult choice for Chloe.
The Price Household - Morning After
Chloe returns home after the hospital visit. The atmosphere is tense.
Kitchen
- Talk to Joyce: Joyce will be in the kitchen. Engage in conversation to discuss the previous night's events and Rachel.
- Examine the Newspaper: On the kitchen counter, read the newspaper for a local news update.
- Check the Fridge: Open the fridge for a brief interaction.
Chloe's Room
Head to Chloe's room to find clues and progress the story.
- Look at the Photo Album: On Chloe's desk, interact with the photo album to trigger memories.
- Examine the Journal: Read Chloe's journal entries for her thoughts and feelings.
- Find the Old Phone: Search through the drawers or boxes in Chloe's room to locate her old phone. This is a key item for a later puzzle.
Frank's RV
Chloe decides to confront Frank. Travel to his RV, which is usually parked near the junkyard.
