Armor and accessories provide crucial defensive bonuses and various passive effects, helping Ryoma survive challenging encounters.

Armor Types:

• Headgear: Helmets, headbands, etc.
• Torso Armor: Vests, kimonos, etc.
• Arm Guards: Gauntlets, bracers.
• Leg Guards: Greaves, shin guards.

Acquiring Armor:

• Shops: Armor shops sell various defensive pieces.
• Blacksmith: Crafting and upgrading armor is a key method for obtaining strong defensive gear.
• Battle Dungeons: Rare armor pieces can be found as drops or rewards.
• Sub-Stories: Some sub-stories reward unique armor.

Armor Stats:

• Defense: Reduces incoming damage.
• Special Effects: Can include elemental resistance, increased Heat Gauge gain, status effect resistance, or even minor attack boosts.

Accessories:

Accessories (e.g., amulets, rings) often provide unique passive buffs, such as increased item drop rates, faster Virtue gain, or specific elemental resistances. You can usually equip one or two accessories.

Always aim to have the best possible armor equipped, especially before major boss fights. The right combination of armor and accessories can significantly improve your survivability and overall combat effectiveness. Don't neglect upgrading your armor at the Blacksmith.
