Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1: The mastermind uses a unique, highly aggressive sword style with unpredictable combos and powerful unblockable attacks. They are very fast.
- Phase 2 (approx. 60% HP): Introduces a second weapon (e.g., a spear or a second sword), significantly expanding their attack repertoire and range. They will also use powerful area-of-effect attacks.
- Phase 3 (approx. 30% HP): Becomes even more desperate, unleashing a flurry of relentless attacks. They might also have a unique Heat Action that you need to counter with a quick-time event.
Strategy:
- Style Recommendation: Be prepared to switch between all four styles. Swordsman for parries and single-target damage, Wild Dancer for evasion and quick hits, Gunman for ranged interruptions, and Brawler for guard breaks.
- Defense: Prioritize dodging above all else, especially in later phases. Guarding is risky due to unblockable attacks. Learn their attack patterns meticulously.
- Offense: Look for small openings after their long combos. Don't overcommit. Use charged attacks to break their guard when possible.
