Boss: Captain Blackheart

Captain Blackheart is your first major pirate boss, a formidable foe with a penchant for heavy-hitting physical attacks and summoning reinforcements. He's a good test of your party's ability to manage multiple targets and sustain damage.

Phases & Strategy:

  1. Phase 1 (100%-50% HP): Blackheart primarily uses single-target physical attacks. He will occasionally use 'Call to Arms' to summon 2-3 Pirate Thugs.
    • Strategy: Focus your strongest single-target attacks on Blackheart. Use area-of-effect (AoE) skills to clear out the summoned thugs quickly, as they can overwhelm your party with their numbers. Keep your healer (e.g., Saeko as Idol) ready to restore HP.
    • Weakness: Electric (Magic), Blunt (Physical)
  2. Phase 2 (Under 50% HP): Blackheart becomes more aggressive, gaining a temporary 'Berserk' buff that increases his attack. He will also use 'Anchor Slam', a powerful AoE attack that can inflict Stun.
    • Strategy: This is where you unleash your ultimate skills (Essence of...). Prioritize debuffing Blackheart's attack and buffing your party's defense. If a character gets stunned, use an item or a skill to cure it immediately. Continue to clear any summoned thugs.
    • Recommended Jobs: Ichiban (Hero/Samurai), Adachi (Detective/Enforcer), Saeko (Idol/Hostess), Nanba (Homeless Guy/Chef).
    • Recommended Items: High-grade healing items (Hawaiian Punch), MP recovery items (Energy Drinks), Stun Cures.

Reward: 3000 XP, 1500 USD, 'Blackheart's Cutlass' (Ichiban Weapon).
