The Golden Shark is a cunning and agile boss who relies on speed, critical hits, and evasion. This fight requires precise timing and a focus on accuracy-boosting skills.
Phases & Strategy:
- Phase 1 (100%-60% HP): The Golden Shark uses rapid single-target attacks and 'Golden Dodge', which sificantly increases his evasion. He also has a counter-attack stance.
- Strategy: Use skills that guarantee hits or boost your party's accuracy. Debuff his Agility and Evasion if possible. Avoid using multi-hit skills if his evasion is high, as many hits will miss. Watch for his counter-attack stance and guard or use a non-damaging skill.
- Weakness: Fire (Magic), Blade (Physical)
- Phase 2 (Under 60% HP): The Golden Shark gains 'Critical Eye', increasing his critical hit rate. He will also use 'Shark Frenzy', a multi-hit attack that can target multiple party members.
- Strategy: Keep your party's HP high. Use defensive buffs and healing as needed. If you have a character with a 'Taunt' skill (e.g., Adachi as Enforcer), use it to draw his attacks. Continue to focus on accuracy and exploiting his weaknesses.
- Recommended Jobs: Ichiban (Samurai/Hero), Joon-gi Han (Hitman), Seonhee (Assassin), Zhao (Gangster).
