- After the opening cinematic, you'll wake up on a beach. Follow the on-screen prompts to learn basic movement and camera controls.
- Head north along the beach. You'll encounter a suspicious individual. This will trigger your first combat tutorial.
- Combat Tutorial: Pay attention to the explanations for basic attacks, skills, and guarding. Defeat the two thugs.
- Continue into the city streets. You'll soon meet a familiar face, triggering a lengthy cutscene that explains Ichiban's predicament.
- Reward: 500 XP, 100 USD.
This mission serves as a soft introduction to the game's mechanics and narrative. Don't worry too much about optimizing combat; just focus on understanding the turn-based system. Explore the immediate area after the fight to pick up any glowing items, which are usually recovery items or crafting materials.
