One of the first major threats you'll face is the giant spider. To defeat it, you must first lure it into a trap. Push the bear trap towards the spider's leg when it attacks. Once it's caught, quickly climb the rope and push the large log down onto its body. This will sever one of its legs, allowing you to proceed. Be precise with your timing, as the spider is relentless.
