As your hero gains experience and levels up during an expedition, you'll unlock 'Traits' (also known as Talents). These are powerful, passive abilities that significantly enhance your hero's capabilities. You get to choose one trait from a selection of three each time you level up.
Examples of Traits:
- Warrior: Stronger Together (gain damage for each adjacent enemy), Survivalist (gain HP when defeating an enemy).
- Rogue: Old Scars (gain evasion after taking damage), Master of Fencing (gain critical hit chance after dodging).
- Necromancer: Unseen Caretaker (skeletons gain regeneration), Residual Heat (skeletons explode on death).
Choose traits that synergize with your current build and the challenges you're facing. Some traits are universally good, while others are situational. Learning which traits are best for each class and situation is a key part of mastering Loop Hero.
