Mastering Luigi's moves is crucial for survival. Use the left stick to move Luigi, and the right stick to aim your Poltergust G-00. Press 'A' to interact with objects, 'B' to jump, and 'X' to use the Dark-Light Device. 'Y' activates the Suction Shot, a versatile tool for pulling objects and stunning ghosts. The 'R' button allows Luigi to slam ghosts after they have been captured by the Poltergust G-00, a vital move for dealing damage. The 'L' button is used to flash the Strobulb, which stuns ghosts, making them vulnerable to the Poltergust G-00's suction. Holding down the 'ZR' button allows Luigi to fire a burst of air from the Poltergust G-00, useful for pushing objects or clearing away smaller spectral nuisances. Combining these actions effectively is paramount. For example, stunning a ghost with the Strobulb ('L' button), then immediately using the Poltergust G-00 ('R' button) to capture it, followed by a slam ('R' button) to deal damage, is a fundamental combat loop.
