Challenge Mode is where you'll spend the majority of your time in Lumines Remastered. It's a continuous play session where you progress through a sequence of skins. Each skin has a unique musical track, visual style, and, most importantly, a distinct Timeline speed. The goal is to survive as long as possible, clearing blocks and building chains to achieve a high score. As you clear more skins, new ones will be unlocked for use in Skin Edit Mode.
Your journey begins with slower, more forgiving skins, allowing you to get accustomed to the mechanics. As you progress, the Timeline will speed up, and the block patterns might become more challenging. Don't be discouraged by early Game Overs; each attempt helps you learn the rhythm and strategies needed for success. Focus on maintaining a low stack of blocks and always looking for opportunities to create 2x2 squares.
