Key strategies for goal line defense:

Stack the Box: Bring extra defenders near the line of scrimmage to bolster your run defense. Formations like '3-4 Bear' or '4-3 Over' with extra defensive linemen or linebackers are effective.
Man Coverage: Man-to-man coverage is often preferred on the goal line, as it asss a defender to each receiver, limiting open throwing lanes. However, ensure your defenders can win their individual matchups.
Blitzing: A well-timed blitz can disrupt the offense's rhythm and force a quick, inaccurate throw or a sack. Be cautious, as a failed blitz can leave you vulnerable. Consider bringing pressure from the edge or a delayed blitz.
Run Blitzes: Specifically designed run blitzes can overwhelm the offensive line and stop the run before it gets started.
User Control: If you're usering a linebacker or safety, focus on filling gaps, covering the tight end, or disrupting short routes. Your ability to react and make plays is crucial.
