Gear Slots & Types
Your Superstar player has several gear slots where you can equip items to provide attribute boosts. These include:
- Helmet: Boosts attributes like Awareness, Play Recognition.
- Shoulder Pads: Boosts attributes like Strength, Tackle.
- Jersey: Boosts attributes like Stamina, Toughness.
- Pants: Boosts attributes like Agility, Change of Direction.
- Cleats: Boosts attributes like Speed, Acceleration.
- Gloves: Boosts attributes like Catching, Catch in Traffic.
- Arm/Wristbands: Minor attribute boosts.
Gear comes in different rarities, with higher rarity gear providing larger attribute boosts. You can acquire new gear through completing challenges, earning Cred/Rep, or purchasing from the in-game store.
Customization & Strategy
Beyond attribute boosts, gear also allows for extensive cosmetic customization, letting you create a unique look for your player. Strategically, you should equip gear that complements your player's archetype and addresses any weaknesses. For example, if your Scrambler QB needs a bit more Throw Power, look for gear that provides that boost. If your Power Back needs more Agility, equip cleats that enhance it.
