Elite wide receivers like Justin Jefferson or Tyreek Hill can single-handedly win games. To neutralize them, consider double-teaming them with a cornerback and a safety. Use 'Press' coverage to disrupt their routes at the line of scrimmage, but be wary of giving up deep passes. Mix in zone coverage to prevent them from finding open spaces. If they have exceptional speed, play off-coverage to prevent the deep ball. Generating a strong pass rush will also limit the quarterback's time to find them.
