Before each race, you'll choose a character and customize your kart. Characters are divided into weight classes (Light, Medium, Heavy), which affect their stats:
- Light Characters: High acceleration, low top speed, good handling.
- Medium Characters: Balanced stats.
- Heavy Characters: High top speed, low acceleration, poor handling.
Kart customization involves selecting a vehicle body, tires, and a glider. Each part modifies your kart's Speed, Acceleration, Weight, Handling, and Traction. Experiment with different combinations to find a setup that suits your playstyle and the track you're racing on. You unlock new kart parts by collecting coins during races (every 50 coins unlocks a new part, up to 4500 coins).
