This ink spray sificantly reduces their visibility, making it difficult to see the track, upcoming turns, or other racers. In addition to the visual impairment, the Blooper also subtly reduces the traction of affected opponents, making their karts feel a bit more slippery and harder to control, especially during turns. This dual effect can lead to opponents veering off-course, hitting walls, or losing valuable speed.

The optimal use of the Blooper centers around maximizing disruption. It is most effective when deployed on straightaways or just before entering complex sections of a track, such as tight chicanes or areas with multiple obstacles. By obscuring vision at these critical moments, you increase the likelihood of opponents making mistakes. The Blooper is particularly potent in underwater sections of tracks, such as those found on Water Park or Thalassophobia, where visibility is already naturally reduced. The added ink spray can make navigation extremely challenging. While it affects all opponents ahead, its impact is most pronounced on those who are directly in front of you and relying on clear sightlines. It's also worth noting that the Blooper's effect is temporary, so timing its use to coincide with crucial racing moments is key. Avoid using it when you are in last place and far behind the pack, as its primary targets are those ahead of you. Instead, save it for when you are in a competitive position and want to hinder the progress of those vying for the lead.
